Casual Weekly podcasts recording progress and discussions around interesting related subjects to our FMP, we use this to discuss ideas and experiences and demonstrate a transition from ideation to design.
An informal conversation looking at how experiences in games make us feel lonely and where this leads us, an open discussion about topics that interest us and getting to grips with the concept of a podcast.
Episode 2 Part 2
In part two we bring forward more formulated ideas and work towards building the base structure of a game from our week 1 sprint continuing with our theme of indirect connection and legacy, Dean talks about his Seed generation prototype he's been working on while Ella and I discuss our ideas in detail working to combine them together to create a better experience
Week three's podcast is centred around the theme of Communication is the key to loneliness, we spent a day or two coming up with potential ideas and points of interest to discuss and form into a game during this session
In this episode, we discuss our basic principles surrounding game idea three that Dean and Bernie concepted and then we move on to outlining issues with our workflows and how we want to progress as a team.
Episode 2 Part 1
Now working from our three themes, we have spent a little time coming up with ideas and talking points around the idea of legacy and indirect connectivity, stemming from our theme of loneliness we want to look at how game experiences pass through players or characters and what surrounds this idea of passing something on in a game. Part one although cut short due to technical difficulties such as team members health, we looked at Bernie's narrative ideas and the pros and cons of the subject, I bring forward some talking points and we end with some general discussions
This week we talk about considerations outside of the game, audience platform hardware, engine and other things that may impact our design work.
